Club Facilities

Boat Launch:

The boat launch located on Frog Creek is accessible by all members. The property is secured by a locked gate which ensures a safe location to leave your truck & trailor.

Frog Creek extends to Stanjikoming Bay on Rainy Lake for excellent bass and walleye fishing.

Ranges:

Archery, skeet shooting and rifle and handgun shooting are thriving. With so much interest, the club is planning to hold shooting contests in the spring. Jeremy Johnston has made a new gun rack for the rifle range.

Skeet Shooting
New shooters are always welcome, and can get individualized instruction on Thursdays at the range. Get more information by calling Len Noonan at 274-9131.

Archery
The club meets on Mondays and Wednesdays at 6:30pm. Two instructors are available if anyone is interested in learning archery. Contact Blair Beadow at 274-9889.

Rifle
The rifle range is open to club members. It has berms at 50 yards, 150 yards and 200 yards. It's a great place to teach the novice shooter in a safe environment. Also a great place to try-out your sites before big game season.

The Range Officer is Willy Anderson and can be contacted at 274-6702.

Handgun
A handgun club meets at the handgun range on the club's site. Contact Willy Anderson at 274-6702 for more information.

On the Property:

The road on our property to Couchiching Heron Landing golf course has been dug out. Too many non-members have been using it to access the adjacent property to get wood or to hunt. Mark Fontana has been plowing the road to the ranges.
